Logo, trademark, visual identity—every business or organization needs one to help communicate and identify their unique brand. Silhouette Graphics creates powerful and memorable logos for customers by keeping in mind two considerations:

Who is your customer? What market are you operating in?

When you hire Silhouette Graphics to create a logo or revitalize an existing one, we will meet with you to learn about your organization and its products and services. We will design your logo to be flexible enough to be used at any size without losing quality (print or electronic media, letterhead, on your company trucks, on t-shirts, etc).

Once the creative process starts, we show you several ideas. Usually after 3-4 renderings we have reached the final stage where the logo is just right. We then supply it to you in four-color, two-color and black-and-white variations in the file format of your choice.

The job of a graphic designer is to effectively and attractively position the text, or written message—not design an artsy piece for the sake of being … artsy. How many times have you seen an ad or read through a brochure and wondered, “Cool piece. But what are they selling?”

Silhouette Graphics is committed to cohesive design that works with, not against, your copy. If you’re not a professional copywriter or photographer, we strongly recommend you hire one to help you craft a powerful message to your intended audience. We can recommend many talented copywriters and photographers who can help you communicate why your product or service is superior and why your intended buyer should buy it. Great design always starts with great copy and photos.

When the graphic design process gets underway, we seek to understand what action you want the reader to take. Call a phone number? Go to your website? Tear off the form and mail it in? Just sit back, read and learn from your piece? Understanding what you want the reader to do is the most important first step. This helps us know where to place certain elements within the piece, to direct the reader’s eyes.

How people use the Internet has changed drastically over the last 10 years. Users want information fast—they aren’t impressed anymore by fancy flash intros or audio (flash animation and audio has its place, but with restraint). Visitors also want to find the information they need from your site with ease—make them click through too many layers and they may leave in frustration. Your website should serve as a dynamic brochure, one that pitches your photos and services with up-to-date information and ideas with easy navigation.

Silhouette Graphics understands web navigation and can help you design a website that delights, not frustrates, your prospects and customers. We’ll help you make the all-important “what goes where” decisions. If you’re a merchant, we’ll help you with your shopping cart area. If you want to offer a newsletter signup, we can help you with that functionality, too.
